Regimen Records recording group 3 Winans Brothers - comprised of multiple GRAMMY® Award-winning gospel legends BeBe, Marvin, and Carvin Winans - have slated a wide range of activity surrounding the arrival of their hugely anticipated new album. Foreign Land - released in partnership with BMG and eOne Music - arrives in stores and on the iTunes Store, and all leading digital retailers on Tuesday, September 30th.
3 Winans Brothers celebrate Foreign Land with a number of high profile TV appearances, including FOX's Good Day NY (set for Friday, October 3rd), BET's Bobby Jones Gospel (October 12th), The Hallmark Channel's Home & Family (Broadcast Date TBA), and NBC's TODAY (November 10th). Other appearances include visits to such popular radio programs as The James Fortune Show (September 29th), The Yolanda Adams Show (September 29th and 30th), The Tom Joyner Morning Show (October 2nd), and SiriusXM's Artist Confidential (October 2nd ) (check local listings). A live concert performance at Pastor Marvin Winans' Perfecting Church in Detroit is scheduled for this evening, September 30th.
The jam-packed schedule follows appearances including Access Hollywood, Entertainment Tonight/The Insider, and a special 3 Winans Brothers-themed edition of BET Centric's Videology. As if that weren't enough, the iconic trio was recently hailed for their distinctively soulful performance of the National Anthem at ESPN's highly rated Opening Night ceremony at the 2014 US Open Tennis Championships.
Foreign Land features the powerfully moving new single, "I Really Miss You," penned by BeBe in memory of the Winans' late brother Ronald and first performed following Marvin's emotional eulogy at Whitney Houston's 2012 funeral. The track follows 3 Winans Brothers' extraordinary 2013 debut single, "If God Be For Us," and the vibrant, brass-driven "Move In Me," which proved a Gospel radio smash upon its release earlier this year. Written by Marvin Winans and featuring Earth Wind & Fire's world-famous Phenix Horns, the exclusive "Move In Me" radio single was produced by longtime BeBe Winans collaborator Daniel Weatherspoon and remixed by chart-topping, GRAMMY®-winning producer Warryn Campbell (Erica Campbell, Mary Mary, Alicia Keys, Jennifer Hudson).
"Move In Me" was accompanied by a star-studded companion video, highlighted by guest appearances from such longtime Winans friends and fans as Mike Tyson, Terry Crews, MC Hammer, and Sugar Ray Leonard. The clip is streaming now at 3 Winans Brothers' official YouTube channel, www.youtube.com/watch?v=aperq_Cwh1Y. In addition, BET's Centric recently premiered a special "Behind The Scenes" look at the "Move In Me" video, with additional broadcasts scheduled through the month.
3 Winans Brothers made their memorable live debut at last year's historic 50th Anniversary March on Washington ceremonies, performing "If God Be For Us" at the foot of the Lincoln Memorial in Washington, DC. Penned by BeBe Winans, "If God Be For Us" is but one of the many inspirational highlights found on Foreign Land. Recorded in Nashville, New York, and Los Angeles, the album sees 3 Winans Brothers teaming with such multi-faceted studio superstars as multiple GRAMMY®-winner Rodney Jerkins (Michael Jackson, Beyoncé, Mary J. Blige) and Daniel Weatherspoon (Donald Lawrence, Vashawn Mitchell), with additional guests including legendary GRAMMY® Award-winning gospel vocal group, the Clark Sisters, featured on the upbeat "Dance." Fans are invited to sample Foreign Land via 3 Winans Brothers' official SoundCloud, soundcloud.com/3winansbrothers/foreign-land-official-sampler. "The album is fascinating," BeBe Winans recently told Examiner.com's AXS Entertainment. "It's really been a joy and I think it's something special. We took our time and wrote songs, it was like a breath of fresh air."
The Winans Family is of course among the most celebrated dynasties in the annals of American musical history, undisputed icons of gospel, soul, and R&B for more than three decades. Long praised for his remarkable gifts as vocalist, songwriter, producer, and performer, BeBe has achieved unprecedented success as both solo artist as well as alongside sister CeCe in the renowned duo, BeBe & CeCe Winans. At the same time, older brothers Carvin and Marvin earned comparable applause as two-thirds of The Winans, acclaimed for their groundbreaking combination of traditional gospel with modern urban sound and style. Over their illustrious careers all three brothers have been feted with innumerable awards and honors, each one a six-time GRAMMY® Award-winner for a cumulative 18 trophies between them. Now, as 3 Winans Brothers, these remarkable artists come together as a trio for the first time ever, blending their countless gifts into an astonishing, powerful, and passionate new vehicle for contemporary inspirational music.
